Delivery Times

Parcels are generally delivered within 10 to 12 business days after receipt of your payment. This period includes order preparation and the delivery itself, from our factory in Germany to your home. However, this period may be extended by us by 16 business days, subject to an email from us informing you of the delay.

 

Beyond this maximum period, the customer will be contacted in order to decide either on a new delivery method at JumboBag’s expense, or on cancellation of the order. Any cancelled order will be reimbursed to the customer in full. No damages or compensation may be claimed by the customer from JumboBag.

Delivery Methods

JumboBag catalogue products:

Delivery is currently available to mainland France (including Corsica), Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Standard shipping is carried out by La Poste, DHL or DPD Express (depending on parcel size), with home delivery. For other countries, please send us a request at [email protected]

 

Rates:

Delivery charges are not included in the sale price of the products, except for orders shipped to mainland France and Corsica, for which shipping is free from €100 of purchase.

 

The delivery rate for JumboBag products for home delivery applies per parcel shipped and is generally €15 incl. VAT for Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Austria. For Italy and Portugal, the rate is €19.80 incl. VAT; for Spain, €22.20 incl. VAT. Finally, for Switzerland, the current rate is €50 incl. VAT, including €14 in customs duties. If the country to which you wish to have your cushion delivered does not appear during order validation, please contact us by email at [email protected] to find out which countries are served as well as the applicable delivery rates.

Transfer of Liability and Receipt of Goods

The transfer of liability for the goods between JumboBag and the carrier takes place as soon as the latter takes charge of the parcels. The transfer takes place again between the carrier and the customer once the customer has signed the delivery note. It is therefore essential to check all goods upon receipt. In the event of damage, note the observed damage on the delivery note and refuse the parcel.

 

Please note that the statements “subject to inspection” or “subject to unpacking” have no legal value with carriers or insurers. If you become aware of a problem after the carrier has left, please notify us by email at [email protected] within a maximum period of 72 business hours following receipt of the order, accompanied where applicable by photos of the product and the packaging.

 

In the event of a transport-related problem, in accordance with Article 133-3 of the French Commercial Code, please make sure to send your reasoned protest to the carrier by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 3 days (excluding public holidays). Do not use sharp objects such as box cutters, knives, scissors or similar items to open your parcel, so as not to damage the product. Any return and re-shipment of the parcel remains at the customer’s expense.
